Get Holy / Saintly Acres - About Us
The name Get Holy represents the heart of our
spiritual life. We are to “Get Holy.” That is to say, we
are to know, love and serve God. We are to transform
our lives into the image of the Body of Christ. We are
to conquer our personal interior disordered passions
and desires known as concupiscence.

Those who want to Get Holy must use a different
approach than the one most of the world uses,
including most clerics. We are not to take the road of
least resistance. Rather, we ask what is the will of God
and then we are to take that road whether it be easy
or difficult. This is done with the understanding that
people will rise to the level of excellence demanded of
them. We are not called to water down the Faith, but
to present it in all its fullness for the glory of God and
the salvation of souls.

At Saintly Acres, we are dedicated to the tried and true
methods of growing in holiness as lived by the many
great saints in our rich history.

We look for and demand nothing less than the
fulfillment of Jesus' command "Be ye perfect as your
heavenly Father is perfect."

We are here for you.

Fr. Robideau
Fr. Robideau is currently assigned to start a new
parish in Lansing, MI called Blessed John XXIII.
This community is dedicated to the Extraordinary
Form of the Latin Rite (Tridentine Rite).

Father has given several retreats and conferences
since his ordination in 1997. He has spoken along
side many great speakers such as Fr. John Hardon
S.J.. He has spoken in or been invited to speak in
several states and other countries. He has also
worked extensively with several Secular Order
Carmelite communities with whom he has a special
affection.

Father feels a special attraction to the study of
spirituality and mystical theology. But it is not just
knowledge to him. He takes this area of study to
heart as he has taken up the lofty goal to "Get
Holy" himself.
Explanation of Fr. Robideau's Coat of Arms

The Cross with a crown recognizes that Jesus is
our Lord and Savior.
The M recognizes Mary and her role as mother in
our spiritual life. The M is in the background behind
the cross to recognize her humility. The Crown
over the M recognizes her as our Queen and is the
same style as the one over the cross to recognize
that all royalty must share in Jesus' royalty.
The hammer recognizes St. Joseph the Worker, a
special saint to Fr. Robideau and his family.
The sword recognizes that I am a soldier for Christ.
The sword points down to remember that we are
talking about a spiritual combat.
The flame recognizes the passion and zeal that is
necessary in the spiritual life.
The flame crosses over the sword to recognize
tempering (strengthening) and purification that is
necessary in the spiritual life.
The hat and single tassel on either side is the
Church's symbol to recognize the priesthood.
More about Saintly Acres

Saintly Acres is a 20 acre farm that serves as the
rectory for Fr. Robideau.

Father spends his day building up his new parish,
Blessed John XXIII and living the life of
Ora et Labora
(work and prayer). Each day he spends time in
manual labor on the farm and caring for his horse,
chickens and cat. Other time is dedicated to saying
daily Mass and prayer. The spiritual fruits and grace
of his labors are offered up for the success of the new
community.

Father has built a small chapel and conference room
in the rectory for one day retreats or day of reflection.
These will be offered once a month. See the Saintly
Acres page to get details on these.

Saintly Acres is meant to be a safe place for people to
come and learn about the spiritual life.

There will be other events at Saintly Acres, so check
